Post-Acute Pulmonary Care
The Pulmonary Care program is designed to rehabilitate people who have lung conditions. Like the Cardiac Rehab program, it includes closely monitored exercise, as well as educational classes on lung related topics.

Rehab for Pulmonary patients is intended for anyone who has:
- Emphysema
- Chronic bronchitis
- COPD
- Asthma
- Any other form of lung disease
The Program Includes:
- A series of breathing tests and a chest X-ray to determine degree of impairment.
- Three individualized one hour exercise sessions each week under close supervision.
- Using the Teach-back Method, patients are educated on topics such as proper breathing techniques, smoking cessation, nutrition, proper use of medications and more.
